Getting CQE often involves setting fires so just hitting the targets and setting them on fire is critical (i.e. With Manual secondaries, your ship's secondaries on the opposite side won't fire at all even if there multiple targets there. Your DPM w/o Manual secondaries can actually be greater than w/ Manual if you're engaging multiple targets from both sides of your ship. You must click on a target or your secondaries don't fire at all 15%, but Manual Secondaries have the following downsides: I sacrifice a 60% Secondary hit chance (for >T7 ships) vs. I sacrifice a targeted AA buff by not taking manual AA, but still have stronger AA and can take Adrenaline Rush which can increase my ROF on all my batteries up to 20% if I'm nearly dead Taking AFT+BFT extends the range & ROF of both your AA & Secondaries. In my case, my current build is a "hybrid" of the Secondary/AA build, but w/o the Manual Secondaries or AA and with Adrenaline Rush instead. When I first went thru the German BB line, I tried the Manual Secondary build on the Bismarck, but now have the following build on my German BBs. In addition to the suggestions from the previous posters, you may want to also consider the following as Manual secondaries have a downside. If you could answer these questions and maybe provide more info that would pertain to this situation it would be very helpful Once it's equipped, do the secondaries provide lead, or do I have to do it for them?ĭo I just point them at a target and they automatically fire and provide lead? Or do I press the fire button to fire them in the direction I'm pointing at? I'm 10k exp away from the Bismarck, and I've heard a lot of people say Manual Secondaries is the way to go on that ship.
